Raju gets off the tiger

By T S Sudhir

Ramalinga Raju has logged himself off the CBI net. After several unsuccessful attempts to get bail, Raju’s plea on health grounds found favour with the Andhra Pradesh High court on Wednesday. This even as NIMS doctors, who have been painting a rather gloomy picture of Raju’s health status so far, now claimed his virus count was down from one crore to just 30. And that he needed to be in hospital for just another 16 weeks.

Raju transformed from a suave, sophisticated corporate leader to a cheat on January 7, 2009. This even as he now claims that infamous letter was just a resignation letter sent to SEBI and not really a confession statement. In which case, all those jazzy lines of `not knowing how to get off the tiger’ must have been just to make the copy more colourful, I suppose, Mr Raju !!

  1. Serenity Stupidity says:

    Hi Tss,

Granting of bail, I think is an embarrassing self goal by Justice System ,is it not ?
Raju does ultimately seem to be getting round to have his wish come true: Football, albeit with Judiciary.
    Do you feel so ?

This is one tiger we do not want to save : the Tiger of malfunctioning Judicial system. Its now baying for the blood of us citizens.

I have always felt, that (the manner of) granting of bail, is one big
    cancer inflicting the Judicial system.
